terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms cover the use of wanjaisf.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please just call us instead — we are happy to take care of you by phone.

Open every day, 5 PM to 11 PM. Prices in US dollars.
1. What this website is
This site shows our menus, hours and directions, takes table bookings, and passes on enquiries about jobs and private dining. That is all it does.
You cannot buy anything here and there is no checkout. Ordering food online happens on Toast, and our loyalty programme is Toast Rewards. Both are run by Toast on their own websites, under their own terms. We do not deliver.
2. Booking a table
- Online bookings open from tomorrow onwards. For a table tonight, please call us — same-day tables are not taken online.
- Seatings run from 5:00 PM to 10:15 PM. The last table may stay past our closing time.
- Online bookings are for up to 8 guests and up to 60 days ahead. For a larger party, call us or ask about private dining.
- Your table is held for 15 minutes past the booking time. After that we may give it away.
- We do not seat a party that is not complete. Please arrive together.
- A booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and then call us.
- Cancelling is free. Use the link in your confirmation email, or call us. Please do, so we can give the table to someone else.
We may cancel or move a booking if we have to — a closure, a private event, a problem in the kitchen. We will tell you as soon as we can and you will owe us nothing. We may also decline a booking that looks fake or abusive.
3. Menu, prices and what is available
Menus and prices on this site are the ones we intend to serve, but they change. Dishes sell out, ingredients run short, and prices move. The prices in the restaurant and on Toast are the ones that apply, and they may differ from each other.
Photographs show how a dish usually looks, not a guarantee of what arrives on the plate. Anything marked coming soon is not available to order yet.
4. Allergies and dietary needs
Please tell your server about any allergy or dietary requirement before you order, and add it to the notes when you book so we are ready for you.
Our kitchen is a shared one. Fish sauce, shrimp paste, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy, eggs, gluten and dairy are all in use, and dishes are prepared on shared surfaces and equipment. We will do our best, but we cannot promise that any dish is completely free of a given ingredient. The notes on this website are a guide and are not medical advice.
5. The bar
We serve alcohol to guests aged 21 and over and we ask for valid photo identification. We may refuse or stop service at our discretion, as the law requires of us.
6. Rewards, promo codes and the fortune game
Toast Rewards is operated by Toast and governed by their terms. Points, tiers and redemption are theirs, not ours.
Any promo code we publish is for one use per guest unless we say otherwise, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be combined with another offer, and may be withdrawn at any time.
When we run the fortune game, one play is allowed per guest per visit, a prize must be claimed on the visit it is won, prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, and we may end the game or change the prizes at any time. Our record of a code is the one that counts.
7. Job applications and event enquiries
Sending a form through this site is a first contact, not an agreement. We are not obliged to reply to, interview, hire, or hold a date for anyone. A private dining booking is only confirmed when we have agreed it with you directly.
8. Links to other websites
We link out to Toast for ordering and rewards, to SpotHero for parking, to Google for our listing and map, and to Instagram and Facebook. We do not run those services and we are not responsible for them. Once you leave this site, their terms apply.
9. Our words and pictures
The photographs, text, menus, the Wanjai name and the clover mark on this site belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without asking first — write to us and we will usually say yes. Sharing a link, or a photo of your own dinner, is always welcome.
10. Using the site fairly
Please do not make bookings you do not intend to keep, book under someone else's name, try to break into or overload the site, scrape it automatically, or use the forms to send us anything unlawful. We may block access and cancel bookings where this happens.
11. The site is provided as it is
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be online, error free, or up to date at every moment. Hours, menus and prices here may lag behind the restaurant. When it matters, call us and ask.
12. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent allowed by California law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website — for example a missed event because a page was down or a booking email did not arrive. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including our responsibility for the food and service in the restaurant itself, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in the City and County of San Francisco, California.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when we last did, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
